Job Description:
As a Customer Service Representative at Auto Now, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability of our dealership and assisting our customers in successfully managing their auto loans.

Responsibilities:
  • Loan Portfolio Management:
  • Monitor and maintain a portfolio of customer auto loans.
  • Review and analyze customer accounts to identify delinquent payments and potential issues.
  • Initiate contact with customers who are past due on their payments to negotiate payment arrangements.
Customer Communication:
  • Conduct professional and empathetic communication with customers regarding their loan status.
  • Assist customers in understanding their financial obligations and available options for repayment.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain a polite and professional demeanor when communicating and negotiating with customers regarding collections.
Payment Processing:
  • Accurately record and process customer payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding payment processing.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies
Collections and Recovery:
  • Implement effective collection strategies to recover overdue payments.
  • Evaluate the need for and initiate repossession proceedings when necessary, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining low delinquency and repossession rate objectives.
  • Follow up on insurance claims and on impounded vehicles.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and payment histories.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of loan portfolios and collections efforts.
Compliance:
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations governing collections and lending practices.
  • Ensure that all collection activities are conducted in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with laws relating to the collection of a debt, while abiding by the law at all times.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Previous experience in collections, loan servicing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, task oriented.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ethical and respectful customer interactions.
