Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented service Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be a point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for ordering parts and communicating with the shop foreman. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Ensure the sales counter is well-organized, stocked, and clean at all times.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, particularly within an auto shop setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
