Job Description
We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a web developer to join our Analytics Web Systems team. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications for new and existing systems. The position requires the person to:
- Design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software programs and applications
- Effectively communicate with business users, team members, and management
- Design and implement robust, flexible, easily maintainable solutions to problems
- Identify and present opportunities for process improvement
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- An understanding of object oriented and/or functional design paradigms and best practices
- High aptitude for logical thinking and pattern recognition
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and practices to overcome existing challenges
- Ability to adapt to constant change and innovation
- Understanding of Web technologies based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript such as Angular
- Knowledge of Responsive Design (Mobile), Database Design (SQL), ASP.NET, WebAPI, Core MVC, C#, F#, C , Automated Testing, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Methodologies, or Version Control Practices (git) is a plus
