Job Description
We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, you could have the flexibility of work-from-home time as defined by the leadership team.
Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated experienced claims professional to join our team. The position requires the person to:
- Aids management by:
- Coordinating an area’s activities and services; and
- Keeping management informed on progress in meeting objectives, and problems involving the activities or service of the area.
- Review the progress of meeting training objectives, analyze training procedures, and prepare reports for management including conclusions and recommendations for a solution.
- Initiates, reviews and answers correspondence by telephone, memo, and letter.
- May direct the activities of associates in meeting Company objectives.
- Regular and predictable attendance in meeting a defined work schedule.
- Travel, attend meetings, seminars and other training classes as required.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or several years of equivalent experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, policy and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms and possess good problem resolution skills.
- Demonstrates innovativeness and continually seeks more efficient ways to process and handle work.
- Above average problem solving, training and skill building ability.
