Job Description
We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, you could have the flexibility of work-from-home time as defined by the leadership team.
Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated Case Manager professional to join our team. The position requires the person to:
- Enter data from new business applications into policy administration system
- Learn proper work flows of tasks, routing, follow-ups and basic unit functions
- Order, research, and handle items needed for an application to go through the underwriting and issuance processes
- Timely handle phone calls and emails regarding the status of pending application sand requirements, using proper phone and email etiquette
- Coordinate with underwriters, agent and others as needed to research problems pertaining to policies and find solutions
- Maintain files with prompt handling to help underwriters expedite decisions
- Reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence and determine proper action
Desired Skills & Experience
- Associate’s degree or at least two years of direct professional office experience
- Prior clerical or business office experience is preferred
- Flexibility for occasional and/or seasonal overtime
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
