Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Policy Rating Technician to support the Commercial Lines Underwriting Department. The successful candidate will assist with administrative duties, record-keeping, and clerical needs, ensuring seamless collaboration between underwriters and support associates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute daily New Business Reports to facilitate efficient processing and follow-up.
- Order and track Commercial Line Inspections to ensure timely completion and accurate results.
- Perform general clerical duties, including email management and follow-up with agents to maintain effective communication.
- Process endorsements in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and policy files according to established protocols.
- Assist in developing reports and prepare requests for reports as needed, providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.
Requirements
- Highest level of high school education or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational and data interpretation skills, allowing for efficient data analysis and informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
