Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and inventory control will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Process transactions accurately using a cash register and handle cash with precision.
- Maintain an organized inventory system to ensure product availability and efficient stock management.
- Utilize Excel for tracking sales data and inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on vehicle maintenance and automotive diagnostics to customers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales effectively.
- Assist in the upkeep of the counter area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers efficiently.
- Strong understanding of the automotive market, including vehicle maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes to manage stock levels effectively.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in automotive diagnostics is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
