We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful full line 14 bay service center. One of the busiest shops in Dutchess Counter serving 24,000 customers cars per year provides the experienced flat rate tech with massive potential and our exclusive bonus that most New Car Dealers do not pay.

As an Automotive C Technician, you will be responsible for visual checks, tire work, parts and labor repair list, and servicing vehicles to prevent problems. You must be consistent and have careful knowledge of vehicle systems. A State Inspection course and license is required or must be scheduled within 30 days after you start.

Responsibilities
Use our process to look over vehicles and note any issues
Use DVI system and service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements and check if preventive maintenance is up to date and there are no codes in all system scans
Conduct visual vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, fluids, filters, lights, and brakes
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner with DVI supporting evidence
Qualifications
NYSI License required or you may apply while we train you to help you take the test.
Some tools to do the level of work you are capable of.
Strong customer service and communications skills are required - a friendly welcoming car-side manner
Pay Range Data:
A skilled professional C class tech with a NYSI license may make as much as $33000 to $49000 depending upon their hours worked and production Conversely some professionals may choose to work less or reduce production for personal reasons and result in a low range of the scale or lower due to their choices. Salaries are based upon working the full 40 hour week and achieving excellent work quality. You could earn more than the range or be promoted to a higher grade.
