Auto Spa Etc. is part of a local family business that was started in 1977 by Harold “Red” Hurlbut and continued by Phil Hurlbut. Giving back to our community and watching high school kids work as they become young adults are just a few of the many gratifying moments of our days. The business has expanded and the company now includes 3 Full service car washes, and a Detail Center as well as 2 Express car washes in the St. Louis area and 2 Express car washes in Illinois. Car Wash Cashier - Full time and Part time positions available
Car Wash Cashier are responsible for providing customers with the best buying experience possible. Car Wash Cashier are also expected to operate each shift efficiently, within company policies. This position reports to the car wash manager/supervisor directly.
What will you do?
Key Responsibilities:
-Customer Service & Sales
-Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness
-Safety and Security of the store, employees, and customers
-Merchandising and stocking of the store
-Operating a computer, cash register, telephone, and other convenience store machines
-Daily Reports, accountability, and organization of the store
• Team Player
• Must have valid driver’s license for at least 6 months
Minimum of 16 ½ years old
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co workers
Ability to stand for more than 8 hours, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching/squatting. Frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 20-50lbs is required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Working knowledge of technology, tools, and equipment including computer, cash register, telephone, copy/printer, and other convenience store equipment.
