Position Summary
Auto Sport Detailing is seeking a highly experienced Lead Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our Santa Rosa team. This position requires an expert-level installer with a strong eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and experience handling both pre-cut and bulk PPF applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high-end installations, including seamless full-body wraps and part removals, ensuring an exceptional, near-invisible finish.

Key ResponsibilitiesPPF Installation & Vehicle Protection Services
- Expertly install Paint Protection Film (PPF) using both pre-cut and bulk application methods
- Remove necessary vehicle parts (badges, trim, bumpers, etc.) to ensure seamless, hidden-edge installations
- Maintain flawless quality control by ensuring:
- No visible seams, contamination, or debris
- Precise edge-wrapping and alignment
- High clarity and minimal distortion
- Perform PPF removal and reinstallation as needed
- Conduct vehicle prep (wash, clay bar, polish) before applying PPF
Additional Installations
- Perform window tinting, ceramic coating, and vinyl wrap installations as needed
Inventory & Shop Coordination
- Track and manage PPF inventory, tools, and shop supplies to ensure availability
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to uphold professional standards
- Provide training in PPF installation techniques to new employees in the future
Optional Responsibilities
- Marketing Contribution: May be asked to take before/after photos of work for use in marketing efforts
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Experience & Skills
- Two or more years of professional experience installing PPF at a high level
- Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated
- Experience with both bulk and pre-cut PPF installations
- Proficiency in removing vehicle parts to achieve a seamless finish
- Strong hand-eye coordination, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining top-tier craftsmanship
- Physical capability to stand for long hours, lift equipment, and handle heat guns and squeegees
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience with SunTek Film is a plus (we can train on our specific film)
- PPF certification is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay plus flat rate per job commission
- Annual earnings estimate: $90,000 – $120,000 (Based on experience and performance)
- Medical insurance (50/50 employee/employer split)
- Paid holidays and sick days (five sick days per year)
- Performance bonuses based on shop revenue and efficiency
- Use of shop for personal vehicle detailing
