Midas local franchisee owner located in Simi Valley, CA. We are agile, customer-centric, and professional. We are currently looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Mechanic. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, including engine, tires, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems. The successful candidate will be able to diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills, and is able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on vehicles.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles.
• Test and adjust components to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and roadworthiness.
• Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles using specialized equipment.
• Advise customers on repair and maintenance options.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
  
  

Automotive Service Technician Requirements And Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 1 years of automotive repair experience
• ASE certification preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Mechanical skills
• Customer service skills
  
  

Job Types: Full-time

PAY: Performance Base

Schedule

• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Saturday
• Weekends as needed
