The Battery Tuck Driver/Commerical Driversensures accurate, safe and timely delivery and pick-up batteries and other items from customers on a regular route and represents the company in a professional and positive manner.

- Pick up and deliver batteries and other items as requested; pick up returns to and from customers on a scheduled route
- Pick up cores and defective batteries at sister stores on scheduled route
- Complete required paper-work accurately and on-time
- Maintain the company vehicle in excellent condition, by periodic washing as needed and appropriate, keeping the interior clean and organized and checking engine fluid levels as required
- Maintain the warehouse inventory of batteries and help load out battery cores as needed
- Assist with daily housekeeping including dusting and sweeping as requested.
- Be aware of the store’s current sales and sales quotas and promote current sales programs and related items
- Refer inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Participate in internal and external training programs
- Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a calm, positive demeanor when working with employees and customers
- Must possess and maintain a valid class B CDL (or qualify to obtain) driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must understand and abide by federal and state driving rules, practices and procedures and have familiarity with the territory for the position
- Familiar with store operating procedures
