Join our team as a Human Resources Clerk! We are looking for a people-focused, detail-oriented, and driven individual to join our Human Resources team at our corporate offices in Grand Rapids, MI. At Auto-Wares, we strive to lead the aftermarket industry with trusted automotive parts, knowledgeable teams, and a people-centered culture. Key Responsibilities:

- Administer day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Payroll functions.
- Maintain and audit employee timekeeping, attendance, and payroll data using Paycom.
- Enter and process new hires in the HRIS system (Paycom), including employment prescreening coordination.
- Assist in benefits and compensation administration, compliance reporting, and regulatory documentation.
- Contribute to departmental and organizational development, including training initiatives.
- Create and distribute HR and payroll-related reports as needed.
- Support internal employee communication and uphold consistent, professional service.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources/payroll role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience using Microsoft Access is preferred.
- Prior experience in payroll processing, benefit administration, and record keeping.
- Familiarity with Paycom HRIS is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
