Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired results.
- Apply paint using spray guns and other tools while ensuring even coverage.
- Perform touch-ups and buffing to enhance the final appearance of the vehicle.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure the finish meets company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with auto body repair as needed, including welding and glass installation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the finished product.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter in an automotive setting or related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills related to vehicle maintenance and restoration.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during job tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in auto glass installation is a plus.
- Knowledge of buffing techniques is preferred.
