We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! Qualified candidates will have a strong background in electrical / electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, knowledge and skillset of geometrical alignment on precision machinery, robot and automation diagnostic experience, and minor mechanical knowledge and repair skills. Requirements
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems with production, quality and inspection equipment.
Be able to quickly isolate what the problem is and what is causing it
Utilize proper lock-out tag-out procedures
Decide what the permanent corrective action is and be able to implement that change
Be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings to identify parts needed to perform repair. Moving, positioning and commissioning of equipment.
Be able to read a layout blueprint and position a machine according to that blueprint, following all applicable OSHA and MIOSHA safety rules and building codes.
Understand workflow and 5S principles and be able to spot problems that may adversely affect these principles when placing machinery
Be able to work safely and well in a group environment moving heavy machinery
Be able to acquire licenses for equipment needed for the moving of machinery. Lift truck, man-lift, articulating lifts, cranes etc. Continuous Improvement implementations
Be able to assess the mechanical feasibility of a continuous improvement suggestions
Be able to make machine modifications to implement these improvements. Be able to fabricate minor machine parts, guards and other items as necessary
Be able to run basic machines need to fabricate parts. Welder, torches, mill, drill press, bandsaw, etc.
Be able to perform basic machine building and troubleshooting functions. Ability to thread pipe, run conduit, install equipment power and compressed air utilities in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of basic machine principles necessary to repair / rebuild valves, cylinders, pumps, clutches etc.
Diagnose building problems and make occasional minor repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structure and appliances.
Differentiate between mechanical, electrical, and setup issues and perform the necessary repairs to correct any problems or abnormalities.
Is familiar with and practice all required safety practices associated with the performance of their duties and recognize unsafe or dangerous conditions and be able to take appropriate measures to correct those conditions.
- Perform work and utility installations from heights in an aerial lift platform, articulating lift, scaffolding, ladders, etc.

Be flexible and adaptable to a growing and changing high-demand environment.
Be able to make repairs and utility installations from ladders, scaffoldings, and aerial lift platforms. Systems and equipment worked on and installed can be in hard-to-reach places.
Stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions. Frequently lift, carry and setup parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds.
