Autocar Parts is looking for individuals that thrive in a team-based environment, for a company focused on attaining goals. The primary responsibility of the Inventory Specialist will be to complete physical inventory counts, report inventory balances and reconcile inventory records. Additional duties include operating powered equipment such as forklift and pallet jack as well as maintaining order on shelves and bins. Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Summary
- Complete physical inventory counts as required by company policy.
- Report inventory balances and cycle counts in the ERP and WMS system. Reconcile inventory records for a complete and accurate count.
- Repackage and relabel any material that the box has been compromised.
- Straighten shelves and bins while cycle counting.
- Maintain product identification and location labels.
- Ensure bins are accurate.
- Replenish primary bins from overstock when necessary.
- Operate forklift and other materials handling equipment.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople, customer traffic, and employees.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Investigate MIA parts, as required
- Investigate PO discrepancies, as required
- Investigate RMA validations
- Determine damaged part disposition
- Audit of processes related to inventory
- 6 months experience operating a standing forklift
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management systems
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge
- Have the ability to read a tape measure in standard measurements. Metric measurements is a plus.
- Quick learner who possesses good problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
