Job Requisition ID # 23WD69590 Position Overview: We are a team of experienced product attorneys who partner with our business colleagues, understand their objectives and interests, and distill complex legal issues into actionable advice. Partnering with business teams, you will provide a broad range of legal support to the Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) group. You will play a role in helping deliver the convergence of data and process across PDMS, allowing our customers to harvest new value from data, automation, and insights on the Fusion 360 platform and its different verticals. You will need to be curious and proactive to succeed in this role. Location: San Francisco, CA, hybrid model. Reporting Structure: You will report into Senior Director, Corporate Legal Responsibilities You will be a business partner to leaders and teams and build a trusted advisor relationship and wiil engage with team members at all levels, including executives, product and program management, software engineers and business strategy You will learn and advise on the legal implications of new technologies, such as AI and ML, AR/VR, new business models, new strategies, and the changing landscape of cloud services and infrastructure You will help develop and implement programs for policy and process improvements to allow teams to move faster and smarter You will support the development and release of offerings by identifying and driving resolution of issues related to intellectual property, privacy, data security, data use, marketing, competition, regionalization, strategic partnerships and risk management You will draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements important to PDMS, including those relating to cloud service offerings, inbound licensing and SaaS services, developer programs, Autodesk open-source projects, and technology and strategic partnerships You will assist with M&A processes Minimum Qualifications You have a JD degree from ABA accredited university and are a member in good standing of the California Bar You have been providing legal support to software and cloud service businesses, either at a law firm or corporate legal department for 3 years You have expertise and interest in intellectual property, privacy and technology transactions Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,100 and $225,060. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
