Requirements :
Must be experienced in Excel and Google sheets
Must be experienced with pivot tables
In-depth knowledge & experience in same or similar position in an automotive dealership
Demonstrated experience analyzing financial documents, establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems
Operate with a hands-on approach
Experience with CDK software
Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Self-motivated
Responsibilities :
Supervises the accounting aspects of the dealership including overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the financial activities
Ensure corporate, statutory, & regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions
Ensure all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, interest protection and co-op advertising are current and accurate
Assist with the preparation of a complete monthly financial statement according to dealership guidelines and within manufacturer's format and time frame
Interpret the financial statement and the daily operating control (DOC) regularly and informs the General Manager of developing trends
Review the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper reconciliation of reserve accounts, factory payable, and floor plan payable
Manages the dealerships computer system to maximize utilization
Supervises all office personnel to ensure that proper accounting procedures are adhered to
Ensures accurate records for the quarterly and year-end audits to minimize costs
Continuously strives to improve data integrity and information reporting through the dealership with attention to detail and confidentiality
