What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prototype Technician position at Autoliv United States?
Prototype Technician
The Prototype Technician will work primarily in the prototype build bays and support in other prototype areas as needed. This technician will interface closely with Design Engineers Prototype Quality and will report directly to the build bay AMTs and Prototype Supervisor.
What youll do :
- Prototype assembly / inspection using build sheet control plan drawing and instruction from Engineers
- Prototype technician must have great attention with the ability to read and interpret drawings and instructions from Engineers
- Work with Engineers to provide timely results and feedback during new prototype development.
- Measure and record dimensional and build specific data per Engineer instructions
- Update electronic records to maintain all build traceability
- Demonstrate effective positive and timely communication along with good teamwork
- Maintain Launch and Customer deliverables
