What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational indirect buyer position at Autoliv?
The operational buyer is the main contact for indirect purchasing with stakeholders, suppliers, and strategic buyers, he is responsible for negotiating the best commercial agreements with suppliers of indirect material, supported by Autoliv´s policies and code of ethics, the operational buyer solve problems and look for savings opportunities and participate actively to find VEVA opportunities to improve cost and process, as well to become a trusted advisor for the stakeholders.

- Develop local suppliers in relation to risk, quality, and cost.
- Negotiate local commercial agreements.
- Review purchase requisitions and identify sources of supply for spot buys.
- Generate and manage Pos in Autoliv system.
- Market evaluations to review the competitiveness of the suppliers.
- Carry out tenders promoting equal participation of suppliers, validate information and analyze proposals.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations.
- Main contact for indirect purchasing department with the facility
- Point of contact between suppliers, stakeholders, and strategic buyers
- Work as a trusted advisor proposing the best option for the product or services.
- Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related
- Available to work a minimum of 3 days a week on site
