The Pre-Wire Technician's responsibilities include assembling electrical systems or support structures as well as using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment to install components, units, sub-assemblies, and wiring or assembly casings.
Pre-Wire Technician essential functions are as follows:
- Wire custom control panels per detailed schematics: hard wire equipment per drawings
- Perform pre-wiring of motors, photo eyes, sensors, measuring wheels, and terminates wiring at the control panel
- Clean parts using solutions, air hoses and cloths
- Adjust, repair or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications
