The Assembly Mechanic will be responsible for assembling complex and precision mechanical assemblies and mechanisms, ensuring critical dimensional specifications and proper alignment. - Receives written and verbal instructions from supervisor.
- Reads and interprets advanced blueprint.
- Locates, positions, and moves necessary material and parts using hoist and fork truck.
- Performs layout of "special" parts as required.
- Advanced Welding-MIG-Complex parts.
- Ability to help load and unlock trucks.
- Willing to train employees and move into a leadership role.
- Ability to fabricate/modify/fit parts as needed.
- Good communication skills.
- Notifies supervisor of any unusual conditions of material, drawings, parts, and shop equipment.
- Meets acceptable time/work standards.
- Keeps immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Works in accordance with established safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
