We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Low Voltage Lead Technician/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this dual-role position, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of low voltage systems in commercial buildings. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
· Technical Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain low voltage systems, including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, security systems, and audio-visual equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct testing, inspections, and quality checks on installed systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including work orders, reports, and change orders.
· Project Management
- Oversee and manage multiple commercial low voltage projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; track project progress and manage resources.
- Conduct site visits to assess project status and address any issues or changes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in commercial low voltage systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- 2 years of project management experience in a commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling, security systems, AV systems.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Experience with project management software and CRM tools.

Access/Security: PDK, Linear, DSC, Honeywell, Luma
Network: Araknis

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
