Overview:
The Estimating Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and cultivating new estimating opportunities within the construction industry, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, services, and project management, as well as the ability to review request for proposals (RFP) and instruction to bidders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Business Development:
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector, including manufactures, contractors, developers, and architects.

Project Research: Utilize platforms such as BuildingConnected, Sam.gov, and others to identify viable construction projects that align with company objectives.

Lead Generation: Contact manufacturers and general contractors to discover current and upcoming construction projects with high-security scopes.

Collaboration: Work closely with general contractors on ongoing and submitted bids to ensure alignment and offer project support.

Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and product specialists, to manage project data, timelines, and deliverables effectively.

Data Management: Regularly update and maintain accurate project-related information in company databases.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Experience in reviewing project drawing and specifications

Strong knowledge of construction products, services, and industry standards.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, including contractors and manufactures.

Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.

Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and processes.

Experience working with a variety of construction products, including materials, equipment, and services.
