Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician at Automated Gate Services, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by performing diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on various gate and door systems.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proficient in the setup and installation of CCTV systems, Cat 6 cabling, and networking infrastructure.
- Familiar with IP addressing, ping and VMS
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints and site maps.
- Capable of troubleshooting cameras and switches
- Certified to operate BOOM or scissor lifts, with a comfort level working at elevated heights
- Possesses essential telecommunication tools, personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Demonstrates expertise in cabling infrastructure.
- Experience in conduit installation
- Familiarity with Axis/March Networks cameras is a positive attribute.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for job assignments.

- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, climb, kneel, etc., as required at various work locations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment:
The Low Voltage Technician role involves working in diverse environments such as construction sites, warehouses, and outdoor customer locations. Personal protective equipment must be used consistently to ensure safety.
Travel Requirements:
Frequent day travel is expected to job sites, vendor locations, and offices as necessary.
