Responsibilities:
- Obtaining customer information via States’ eligibility system; determining eligibility for federal programs
- Evaluating requests and findings to determine eligibility for assistance
- Interpreting policies to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
Qualifications for the position include:
- Strong PC Proficiency with a willingness to learn multiple programs
- ·Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal health information
- Minimum two to four years’ experience with determining eligibility required
- Experience in health/human services and knowledge of DHS programs preferred
- Bachelor degree in Psychology, Sociology, or related field required; equivalent training/experience considered
