We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused 3PL Operations Specialist to join our Managed Services Team. This role is critical in executing the operational plan effectively, ensuring high client satisfaction, on-time performance, and efficient order management. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will work on-site at one of our customer’s facilities in Spartanburg , South Carolina while being a valued member of ALS.
Responsibilities :
Provide Industry-Leading Customer Service & Communication :
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, updates, and issue resolution.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Build & Execute on Customer Orders :
Accurately create, process, and track orders to completion.
Coordinate logistics activities to ensure seamless execution.
Operational Expert in Our System :
Utilize and master our Transportation Management System (TMS) and other operational tools.
Continuously improve workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
Create, Update & Maintain Client Records :
Ensure all customers and order details are up-to-date in internal systems.
Maintain organized documentation and reporting for operational visibility.
Ensure Order Accuracy & Shipment Tracking :
Monitor shipments, proactively address delays, and communicate updates
Implement best practices to minimize errors and maximize efficiency
Requirements :
- 2 years of experience in supply chain, operations, transportation, shipping logistics, or a related field.
- TMS experience preferred but not required.
- Cross-border logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently on-site while collaborating with remote leadership.

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
