What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader position at Automated Merchandising Systems (AMS Vendors)?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Load daily production information into production tracker.
- Training new team members on manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as supply chain and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of any issues.
- Interpreting engineering specifications, prints and job orders to workers to Complete Shortworkers and assigning jobs between areas.
- Assigning personnel to efficiently produce parts and vending machines through the entire operation.
- Conferring with managers and other leads to coordinate operations and activities within or between shifts and other functional areas.
Daily Task Responsibility:
- Complete storage list by 12:00pm (noon)
- Collect daily production logs for your department and enter in manufacturing file.
- Keep your work area safe, organized, clean and free from debris and useless items.
- Confirm trash is removed daily from work area.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
- 2 years previous leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Have worked with direct reports to create goals and support direct reports to achieve those goals regularly.
- Have managed 5 direct reports.
- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Computer knowledge of Word and Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.98 - $25.97 per hour
