Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, and cylinders, according to engineering specifications and drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydraulic equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Conduct pressure tests, fluid flushes, and other diagnostics to ensure hydraulic systems meet quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to ensure equipment meets customer and regulatory standards.
- Record and report daily work activities, including assembly progress, tests performed, and issues encountered.
- Assist in training junior technicians and support cross-functional teams as needed.
- 2-5 years of experience in hydraulic assembly, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and part specifications.
- Knowledge of hydraulic hose manufacturing
- Be able to identify a wide range of hydraulic fittings.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and fluid power principles.
- Proficient with hand and power tools used in assembly and repair work.
- Ability to perform pressure testing, system flushing, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification in hydraulics or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in standing or crouching positions for extended periods.
- Ability to work with small components and in confined spaces.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
