Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, specializing in high-end, custom motorized shading, window treatments and lighting control. This role involves managing complex projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics, while also delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and a profound understanding of luxury window treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Lead the planning and execution of custom shading and window treatment projects, ensuring they align with client specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Client Interaction:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations, communicating project progress, and ensuring satisfaction from design to installation.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and present solutions.
  • Design Coordination:
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to integrate custom motorized shading solutions that complement the overall aesthetic and functional design of spaces.
  • Oversee the customization process, ensuring product specifications meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage and coordinate with internal teams (sales, design, installation) and external contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to team members involved in projects.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct final inspections to guarantee that installations are completed to the highest standards.
  • Budget Management:
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality or design.
  • Manage change orders, providing accurate cost estimates and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks in projects and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes relevant to window treatments.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, specifications, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Supplier & Vendor Relations:
  • Work with suppliers to source high-quality materials and custom components, ensuring timely delivery for project schedules.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to align with project needs.
  • Innovation & Trends:
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in motorized shading, automation technologies, and luxury interior design to offer innovative solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in project management, with a focus on high-end residential or commercial projects, particularly in window treatments or related home automation fields.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team coordination.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications:
  • PMP or similar project management certification is advantageous.
  • Knowledge or certification in home automation systems or motorized shading technologies is highly desirable.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to visit project sites, which may involve navigating construction environments or working at heights.
  • Licenses:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
