The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for overseeing financial reporting and forecasting while providing strategic insights to the CEO. This role also encompasses elements of the financial controller's responsibilities, including managing the financial close process and ensuring compliance with GAAP. A successful candidate will have the ability to lead a team with strong communications skills and leadership attributes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Forecasting
- Strategic Financial Support
- Accounting Operations:
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely collections and accurate vendor payments.
- Manage reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other key financial statements.
- Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Review weekly payroll reporting.
- Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain lease amortization schedule and record monthly adjustments in accordance with ASC 842
- Responsible for managing revenue recognition and percentage of completion in accordance with ASC 606

You've got what it takes if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Leadership experience managing direct reports.
- CPA, or progress toward CPA is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Davisware, Sage), field services tool (e.g. Service Titan), and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
