In this position, you will be challenged to fabricate large structures for custom machines. To do that you will need to prepare steel for welding, follow the blueprint to prepare the layout, drill and tap holes, and create a masterpiece using precision welds.

Job Functions
- Perform GMAW (Mig)
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Operate jig saw, belt sander, band saw, and various other power tools.
- Operate a 4.5- and 7-inch angle grinder.
- Operate Matobo cut-off wheel.
- Operate 5- and 10-ton overhead cranes and other industrial equipment.
- Perform oxy-fuel cutting and plasma torching.
- Identify potential problems with designs and work with engineers to find a solution
- Clean work area at end of shift
- Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience
- Proficient of fractions and decimals
- Able to use Windows PC
- Own welpers, combination square, framing square, tape measure, welding hood, and basic hand tools
- Must be able to weld in the 1G position using a manual welding process.
