ASI is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist who will be responsible for accuracy of all inventory levels for all job specific inventory and stock.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and organize job specific inventory items in centralized locations by project
- Responsible for accuracy of all raw material inventory and monitoring of replenishment
- Check out all inventory items by project or job order and deliver to manufacturing personnel as needed; no inventory is removed from inventory areas without approval
- Proficient in NetSuite inventory and receiving transactions
- Organize storage of all stock items, proper labeling required
- Keep all inventory stock areas clean, organized, and properly labeled
- Perform cycle counting as directed by the Purchasing Department
- Collaborate with Purchasing Department on setting stock levels
- Demonstrate the ability to work professionally as a team player and willingness to assist others
- Regular and predictable attendance
- May require working extended hours, weekends and/or holidays
- Cross-trained to understand all responsibilities for Shipping and Receiving position
- Responsible for maintenance, accuracy, and organization of obsolete inventory
- Improve and further document inventory control processes
- Proficient in the vendor return process instructs affected personnel on disposition of defective products
- Trains other shipping and receiving departmental employees on cycle counting and inventory control processes.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned or that become necessary to fulfill the company’s responsibilities and needs with respect to its business
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Consistent attendance, reliable, accurate, and a detailed mindset.
- Good communication skills for dealing with employees at various levels of management including Field Superintendents and Manufacturing Managers.
- Must be capable of working independently

- Weight Lifting Requirements: 100# waist high; 150# with someone else; weight must be carried distance of 20′ feet
