We seek a visionary COE Automation Director to lead and drive automation and AI initiatives across our organization. This executive role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in managing an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) and delivering transformative AI projects. As a key decision-maker, you will oversee automation strategies, ensure seamless coordination between teams, and drive execution while maintaining accountability for project timelines, budgets, and strategic outcomes.

You will make an impact by being responsible for :
Leading the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals and deliverables.
Facilitating the definition of Automation programs and projects' scope, goals, and deliverables.
Tracking project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Using appropriate tools to monitor and report on the status of projects to all stakeholders.
Identify potential project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring precise and consistent communication.
Preparing and delivering project reports, proposals, and presentations as needed.
Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Ensuring all project documentation is stored in an accessible and organized manner.
You will be a great fit if you have :
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
15 years of work experience, including leadership, project management, and a proven track record in managing recent AI and automation projects
Experience managing an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) is highly preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Scrum Master Certification and Scaled Agile certification (SAFe) or similar certification
Strong understanding of AI and automation technologies and their application in business processes
You excel in these key competencies :
Ability to effectively lead project planning and implementation, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals, deliverables, and timelines
Strong skills in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies to address them
Excellent communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clearly conveying complex information and ensuring consistent and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Demonstrated experience in managing AI and automation projects, with a deep understanding of the technologies and their application within business processes
Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring all project information is up-to-date and organized
The salary range or on target earnings (base salary on target incentives) for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $285,000 to $300,000 a year and outside of those locations is $275,000 to $290,000 a year. The salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
