D ispatcher Automation Personnel Services is looking for a dedicated and organized Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations by managing communications, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate documentation for inbound and outbound activities. 16.00 - $17.00 an hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, some Saturdays are required.Rotating schedule every two weeks.
- Opening Hours : 6 : 00 am – 4 : 00 pm
- Closing Hours : 9 : 00 pm – until the last truck departs. D ispatcher Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage communication with truck drivers, including overseeing check-in and check-out processes.
- Prepare, review, scan, and upload daily dispatch paperwork, including Bill of Lading, Washout / Visual paperwork, Scale Tickets, etc.
- Accurately enter inbound / outbound weights into inventory system spreadsheets.
- Assist with bagging paperwork, labels, and other related tasks.
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Communicate with coworkers, vendors, and clients via radio, phone, or computer.
- Keep logistics personnel updated on issues and challenges throughout the day.
- Verify accuracy of documentation, addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare daily activity schedules, including dispatch paperwork and location confirmations.
- Conduct safety training for visitors, contractors, and drivers as required.
- File dispatch documents and other office paperwork. D ispatcher Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Strong listening, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
