Factory Technician II Automation Personnel Services is looking for Factory Technician II for a company based in North Houston, Tx . The job requires in-depth knowledge of the assigned machinery and control systems that are used on the production line and carries responsibility to maintain the line operation under safe conditions. It also requires flexibility of travel, which can be up to 50% during peak seasons. When not engaged in project work, 100% of the time will be spent in the warehouse environment, focusing on tasks related to inventory management, maintenance, and support operations. Pay Rate
24.00-$28.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday – Saturday, 7 : 00am – 4 : 30pm Overtime is Mandatory! Schedule may change when traveling Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively participate in Safety and Quality Control initiatives, including attending safety meetings and familiarize them with safety and quality programs and procedures.
- Train and mentor understudies on procedures and best practices and report progress to supervisors.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to adjust.
- Gathers and arranges materials.
- Organize and maintain inventory of tools, nuts and bolts, electrical parts, and general maintenance supplies.
- Swaging area organization and inventory. Ensure equipment and parts are accounted for and fit for next use.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving materials both in the warehouse and on project site location.
- Prepare and assemble test samples as needed.
- Accurately record testing and manufacturing parameters as required.
- Conduct Test Bay, Factory and R&D maintenance tasks as needed.
- Prototyping – testing of new materials or machinery.
- General warehouse duties including - housekeeping; lifting of plastic pipe, materials, and equipment (never to exceed 50 pounds); cutting and drilling of wood and metal.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of related experience required.
- Ability to lift and carry materials not to exceed 50 lbs.
- Capable of performing manual labor, including bending, squatting and standing for extended periods.
- Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and handling tools.
- Ability to work in varying environments, including warehouse and outdoor settings.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical components.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities, especially in operational issues.
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to self-start and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
