First Shift Assistant Machine Operators
Automation Personnel Services is seeking motivated and detail-oriented First Shift Assistant Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Ball Ground, GA. This role involves inspecting, packaging production-related products, and assisting with manufacturing while assisting in achieving the company's daily production goals. Pay Rate $17.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM First Shift Assistant Machine Operators Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of products using visual methods and tools such as calipers to ensure all production meets quality standards.
- Complete all required quality control checks, labeling, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure packaging materials are stocked, organized, and maintained at minimum inventory levels.
- Store finished products properly to maintain an organized workspace.
- Assist with die changeovers and on-line die cleaning functions.
- Support maintenance by entering work orders for any needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and promptly report safety-related incidents.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of material handling, machine operating, extrusion technician, or similar experienceis required.
- Experience using measuring tools including tape measures or calipers.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and computer skills.
- Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Drug screening and background check are required
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required. Job Type
