MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all interior and exterior lighting, kitchen equipment, swimming pools and equipment, ice machines, air conditioning equipment, plumbing, fire control equipment, and guest room repairs. 16.00 to $18.00 per hour Schedule and Hours
Hours and shifts vary, must be flexible Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all assigned preventative maintenance work according to PM program.
- Perform all assigned work requests on all electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Follow specifications, manuals, and schematic drawings for installation, maintenance, and repair of structures and equipment. Use hand and power tools, precision measuring, and testing devices to test, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- In order to detect malfunctions and repair equipment must be able to dismantle equipment and install working parts.
- Make structure repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings, patches or replaces plaster / plaster board, paint walls, ceilings, and trim. Cut and lay flooring (linoleum, tile, carpet, etc.)
- Maintain a log of all work performed including parts needed, and / or parts used on all work requests.Follow work order procedures.
- Clear clogged drains and replace plumbing fixtures. Connect water supplies and drainage pipelines and performs simple wiring and maintenance repair.
- Perform all work requests on all electrical and mechanical equipment on the property.
- Follow proper key control procedures.
- Remedy guest complaints as efficiently as possible. Notify Front Desk for proper follow-up.
- In order to detect malfunctions and repair equipment must be able to dismantle equipment and install working parts.
- Report daily to the maintenance supervisor on maintenance areas of concern of the hotel
- Is prepared to clean sidewalks and entrances to the hotel of ice and snow when necessary.
- Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with Standards of Personal Appearance
