NIGHT SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER Automation Personnel Services is seeking Night S hift Material Handler for a manufacturing company located in Ringgold, GA. In this role, you will conduct assembly operations, drilling, measuring, and material handling. All positions are full-time temporary to hire. Pay Rate $18.00 per hour Shift and Schedules 6 : 00pm-4 : 45am Monday-Thursday and overtime Friday Night Shift Material Handler Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate grinding or polishing machines to grind metal workpieces
- File or finish surfaces of workpieces, using prescribed hand tools.
- Perform basic maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating machine parts.
- Attach workpieces to grinding machines and form specified sections and repair cracks, using welding or brazing equipment.
- Straighten workpieces and remove dents, using straightening presses and hammers.
- Clean, lubricate, maintain, and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation, using air hoses, cleaning fluids, and hand tools. Night Shift Material Handler Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Must read calipers and tape measure to 1 / 16th
- Previous Grinding experience is preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Lift 50lbs throughout workday (in office lifting assessment will be completed)
- Experience with machine operating is required
