Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Overhead Crane Operator for a company based in Birmingham, AL. Dedicated and safety-conscious overhead crane operator with over 2 years of experience in operating overhead cranes to safely and efficiently move materials in industrial settings. Skilled in load handling, equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations. 20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday,2pm-11pm Overhead Crane Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy materials, products, or equipment within a manufacturing, warehouse, or construction site.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating the crane to ensure the safety of the crew, equipment, and materials.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the crane to check for any potential mechanical or electrical issues.
- Communicate clearly with team members via radio or other communication devices, especially when working in a busy or noisy environment.
- Assist in unloading, stacking, and moving materials to designated areas as required by the supervisor or warehouse manager.
- Assist in basic maintenance tasks or help coordinate with maintenance teams for more extensive repairs.
