Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Packaging Lead
for a company locatedPowder Springs, GA that manufactureshigh end Custom Millwork, Fixtures and Displays for the Retail and Commercial Industries. Pay Rate
$18-$20per hour Schedule and Hours
1st Shift 6 : 30AM-3 : 30PMMonday Friday / OT and Some Saturdays may be required Packaging Lead Duties and Responsibilities
- In this role you will Lead a Team of (3) in packaging.
- Will assist with shipping and loading trucks.
Packaging Lead Qualifications and Requirements
- Must 2 years of packaging experience.From small packages for UPS shipments to crating pallets for LTL shipments.
- Experience with packaging machinery such as handheld wrapper,
powered shrink-wrapping machines, electric and hydraulic pallet jacks and electric poly strapping machines.
- Experience with hand and power tools such as chop saw, circular saw, pneumatic nail gun, staplers andbattery powered drills and impacts.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience with loading trucks using forklift, load bars, ratchet straps and air bags.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more throughout the workday.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Basic Computer Skills
- Able to work overtime when needed OT will be required
