PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Production Associate for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this job you will primarily be assembling wire cages, forming wire, operating a forklift, and other duties as assigned. Pay Rate
18.09 per hour Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 1st Shift : 5 : 30 AM-1 : 30 PM and 2nd Shift 1 : 30-9 : 30PM. All positions will train on first shift before being assigned to a permanent shift. Production Associate Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assemble wire cages, vents, and other components.
- Run wire machines and ensure quality expectations.
- Bend and shape wire according to product specifications. Production Associate Qualifications and Requirements
- Forklift experience is required. Certification is preferred.
- Experience with using Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments. Job Type
