Purchasing Logistics Clerk Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Purchasing Logistics Clerk for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this job, you will be responsible for coordinating activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies, for aleading provider of wholesale vinyl, coated fabrics, and upholstery supplies. Pay Rate : $22.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule and Hours : 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday, Most Saturdays Purchasing Logistics Clerk Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies necessary for our operations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and purchasing activities.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Process purchase orders and track shipments to ensure on-time arrival.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify purchasing needs and streamline processes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategies.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any issues that arise.
