Third Shift Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Servicesis seeking a skilled Third Shift Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Ball Ground, GA.You will perform preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment,hydraulic systems, and basic PLC components. 25.00 per hour,can increase based on experience. Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am.
- Must be available to train on first shift! Occasional overtime during the week and up to 5 hours Saturdays as needed.
Third Shift Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all maintenance-related functions and welding on plant operational and manufacturing equipment.Perform both preventative and reactive repairs, inspections, and improvements.Manage time and work orders using the maintenance system.Ensure maintenance documentation and tracking are completed on time and correctly.Maintain communication for shift-to-shift continuity.Perform PM’s, capital projects, and repair projects based on production priority.Inventory and request necessary supplies.Maintain a clean and organized work environment in all assigned areas.Lead by example and enforce all safety rules, working in a safe and appropriate manner.Additional job duties as assigned by management Third Shift Maintenance Technician Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting (3-phase, 240v, 277v, 480v).Able to read and perform work from electrical blueprints and experience in PLC component troubleshooting.Experience with forklift operation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Welding (MIG, TIG, Aluminum) from blueprints experience highly preferredStrong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer functions.Professional communication and interpersonal skills.Drug screening, background check, and lifting assessments are requiredAbility to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.
