Accounts Payable Specialist

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an  Accounts Payable Specialist  for a large and well-respected, family-owned trucking company in Lawrenceburg TN. If you have at least 3 years of accounts payable experience or a four-year degree in a related field and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply today.

Pay Rate

18.00-20.00 per hour, d epending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm.

Accounts Payable Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify invoices for accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Manage vendors and resolve billing issues.
  • Enter and maintain accounts payable data.
  • Assist with month-end reports and reconciliations.
  • Organize accounts payable files.

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements & Qualifications

Education and Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a 4-year degree in a related field.

    • Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

    • Analytical and Organizational Skills :

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.

    • Communication and Professionalism :

  • Good communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and team members.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of governmental accounting principles is a plus.
