Applications Engineer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a n Applications Engineer for a company based in Maryville, TN . In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring hands-on expertise in programming and system integration, particularly within the automotive industry. This is a Direct hire position.
Pay Rate
Up to $100,000 a year
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 9 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm (Schedule can vary)
Applications Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
- Take the lead in PLC programming, working across various platforms (not limited to Omron)
- Provide Technical assistance for Omron products, including NJ / NX programming, servo drives, components, and power supplies.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of industrial automation equipment. Provide onsite support weekly to ensure successful deployment and functionality of the systems.
- Conduct Training sessions, with a focus on PLC systems (CJ or NJ), controls integration, and best practices for cobot operation.
- Identify and support new project opportunities, working with suppliers to secure project specifications and submit quotes for control and cobot systems.
- Other tasks as assigned by the management.
