BILINGUAL SHOP METAL WORKER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working and dependable Shop Metal Workers in Channelview, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics warehouse environment.
Starting pay $16.00-1st Shift
16.50-2nd Shift
Schedule and Hours :
1st Shift- 6 : 00 am – 6 : 00 pm Monday-Friday
2nd Shift-6 : 00 pm – 6 : 00 am Monday-Friday
Some overtime on Saturday-6 : 00 am until 12 : 00pm
Shop Metal Worker Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to work on Day Shift and be flexible in work hours and duties, willing to assist and cross-train in various departments.
- Experience in working with lathes or milling, manual machines.
- Proficient in the use of tape measures to convert inches to decimals, grinders, and hand-held tools.
- Load and unload items from machines.
- Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
- Remove products, machines attachments, or waste material from machines.
- Move products, tools or fixtures between storage and work areas, by hand or using forklifts or cranes.
- Be able to lift 75 lbs., and work in various positions, such as standing, bending, kneeling etc.
