Buyer Purchaser
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Buyer Purchaser for a company based in Lakeland, FL. In this role, you will be part of the procurement team in a dynamic and growing food manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who excels at managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring the timely availability of high-quality materials.
Pay Rate
27 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm; starting and ending times may vary as needed.
Buyer Purchaser Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build strong, long-term relationships to support the company’s operational needs.
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services necessary to support our production operations.
- Monitor market trends, analyze supplier performance, and implement cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, including pricing, terms, and cost-saving initiatives. Track key performance metrics to support ongoing improvements.
- Maintain a centralized database for upcoming contract renewals and ensure timely procurement of goods and services under favorable terms.
- Work closely with internal teams to forecast demand, align procurement strategies with production needs, and ensure timely material deliveries.
