Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Electrician to support a manufacturing facility in Westwego, LA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electro / mechanical equipment essential to plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience working with high-voltage systems, and the ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and blueprints.
Pay Rate
28 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday
7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair all plant electrical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and circuit diagrams.
- Operate lift trucks, hoisting equipment, and various electrical testing instruments.
- Work safely with electrical currents up to 440 volts.
- Perform basic welding as required for electrical maintenance tasks.
- Work in confined or awkward spaces as needed.
