Job Summary Job Summary Performs a variety of duties in the food service department to prepare foods for service, serves foods and cleans up after meal services. Follows established practices and procedures for patient diet identification and service. - Food service experience in a high volume healthcare setting preferred. Additional Skills / Abilities

- Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling.

- Empties trash cans, as needed.
- Cleans and sanitizes tables and seats in café; straightening / restocking condiments.
- Helps keep kitchen clean by breaking down boxes and throwing in trash.
- Utilizes good customer service skills, serving guests and employees courteously and effectively.
- Exhibits proper sanitation skills, handling food properly and washing hands as instructed.
